Fairmount is planning its 7th Community Book Sale on Friday, October 4, from 5pm to 8pm and Saturday, October 5, from 7am-10am. All books will be half-price on Saturday. The Book Sale will be held in the Farm Crest Community Room at 1100 Farm Crest Drive on the east side of the Fairmount campus, and the public is cordially invited to attend.
This will be Fairmount’s largest Book Sale ever, with thousands and thousands of wholesome books from which to choose: children’s; Christian fiction, non-fiction and devotional; general fiction; biographies; history; songbooks; cookbooks; gardening, hobbies, crafts and nature; health, self-help and family books; memoirs; and books of local, Amish and Mennonite interest. Music CDs, puzzles, magazines, and new and collectible books will also be offered. All proceeds from the book sale will go to Fairmount’s Sharing Fund for the benefit of residents who, through no fault of their own, have outlived their resources.
