Quilting enthusiasts, would you like to get out of the house, take a break from the winter doldrums, and spend time with other quilters at Fairmount’s Annual Quilting Days? There you can put your quilting expertise to work for a good cause! Whether you are a seasoned, experienced quilter, or a just-learning wannabe quilter, Fairmount welcomes you. This year’s event is planned for Saturday, February 17; Tuesday, February 20; and Wednesday, February 21; from 8am until 4pm daily in the Farm Crest Community Room at 1100 Farm Crest Drive in Ephrata. You are welcome to come, bring your friends, and join fellow quilters on any or all of these days.

Between 10 and 15 quilts will be set up and ready for quilters in the Farm Crest Community Room. The doors will open at 8am each morning and quilting will continue throughout the afternoon. Donations of quilts, quilt tops, or funds to cover the cost of quilt supplies are also welcome. The quilts produced during Quilting Days will be sold at Fairmount’s Annual Benefit Auction and Chicken Barbecue in September. Refreshments and a noon lunch will be served to volunteers daily.
