A food drive is currently underway at Fairmount in Ephrata until Monday, November 15. The collected food and pantry items will be donated to CrossNet Ministries in New Holland. CrossNet Ministries is a local organization that provides free food items to Lancaster County residents in need.

Tables for food collection will be set up in the Wheat Ridge lobby, on the west side of the Fairmount campus. Local community residents may drop off unexpired, nonperishable food items and paper goods just inside the first set of doors. Donations most needed at this time are: juices and broth; canned chunky soups, crackers, instant rice, mac & cheese, pasta sauce; cereal cups for kids, condiments, size 6 diapers, and paper goods. Please bring nonperishable, unexpired items only. Please spread the word—and thank you for helping our local community residents in this way.
