A free presentation entitled, “Hearing Loss: Beyond Hearing Aids” will be held on Wednesday, December 6, at 1pm at Fairmount Homes in Ephrata. Fairmount resident Dale Long and his colleague Bill Best will present the program, which will be held in the Wheat Ridge Gathering Room at 2100 Farm Crest Drive on the west side of the Fairmount campus. The public is cordially invited to attend.
Bill is a chapter leader of the Hearing Loss Association of America and has taken extensive training in assistive devices. He is one of the most knowledgeable persons in Pennsylvania on this subject. Bill’s presentation will include a discussion and demonstration of the many different kinds of assistive listening devices available in addition to hearing aids.
The presentation is geared to anyone with an interest in hearing loss, whether they themselves are experiencing hearing loss, or they know others with hearing loss.
