A food drive is currently underway at Fairmount in Ephrata and will remain open until Monday, July 5. The collected items will be donated to CrossNet Ministries in New Holland, an organization that benefits people in need in the ELANCO School District.

Tables for food collection are set up in the Wheat Ridge lobby, on the west side of the Fairmount campus. Local community residents may drop off unexpired food items and paper goods at the table just inside the first set of doors. Donations most needed at this time are: salad dressings, canned vegetables, soups, rice, baked beans, jelly, pancake mix and syrup, and pasta (other than spaghetti). Please bring unexpired food items only. Please spread the word—and thank you for helping our local community residents in this way.
