Fairmount will be hosting a free WellSpan Diabetes Day program called “Diabetes: The Heart of the Matter” on Tuesday, November 15, from 6pm–8pm. The event will take place in the Farm Crest Community Room at 1100 Farm Crest Dr. on the east side of Fairmount campus. The public is cordially invited to attend.
From 6pm–7pm, exhibitors will share food samples, recipes, and exercise demos. Kelly Trynosky, DNP, RN, ACNP-BC, CHFN and Program Director of Disease Management, will be speaking at 7pm on Diabetes and Heart Disease, and will discuss the role of healthy eating, physical activity and blood sugar control in helping to keep your heart healthy.
