A free presentation entitled, The Optimistic Journey with Hearing Loss, will be held on Wednesday, August 22, at 1:00pm at Fairmount Homes in Ephrata. Kay Tyberg, a colleague of Fairmount resident Dale Long, will present the program, which will be held in the Wheat Ridge Gathering Room at 2100 Farm Crest Drive on the west side of the Fairmount campus. The public is cordially invited to attend.

Tyberg has been a member of the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) for over 30 years, and in the past has served on the HLAA PA State Advisory Council and has been instrumental in founding several chapters across the state. She is proficient in sign language and has taught sign language in various locations. After the presentation there will be time for questions.

The presentation is geared to anyone with an interest in hearing loss, whether they themselves are experiencing hearing loss, or they know others with hearing loss.Please make plans to join us, and pass the word.
