Fairmount Homes is partnering with CV SEEDS to host a Hygiene Kit Drive from Monday, November 16, through Monday, November 30, to benefit individuals and families in our local community. Community members are invited to drop off donations in the main lobby of Fairmount’s Wheat Ridge campus, located at 333 Wheat Ridge Drive in Ephrata.
Donations will support CV SEEDS’ Hygiene Kit program, which provides essential items to individuals experiencing homelessness and those transitioning into stable housing in the Conestoga Valley Community.
A variety of new and gently used items are being accepted. New items needed include pillows, bed sheets (any size), bathmats, bath towels, washcloths, hand towels, ChapStick, combs, soft granola bars, travel-sized tissue packs, wet wipes, disposable razors and feminine hygiene products.
Gently used items accepted include toasters, crockpots, microwaves, air fryers, silverware, trash cans, brooms, dustpans, vacuums, mops, household cleaning products, hand warmers, sleeping bags and blankets.
Every donation, large or small, helps provide practical necessities, comfort, and dignity to neighbors in need. Fairmount and CV SEEDS are grateful for the community’s generosity and support of this important effort.
