Axle Snappers Inc, one of the oldest car clubs in the country, will be coming to Fairmount to hold a car show. The club consists of car enthusiasts who own old cars, enjoy taking them to car shows, and love to go joy-riding. The club members will bring their cars to Fairmount on Saturday, July 13, from 1pm–3pm. They will first drive them around the Farm Crest campus (east side), then the Wheat Ridge (west side) campus. They will then stop in front of the Wheat Ridge entrance, where everyone is welcome to come out, talk to the members, and look at their cars. The car show is free and open to the public. If you are interested in joining the show, please call Wilmer Hurst at 717.468.3382, as space is limited.
