No masking requirements are in place in any neighborhoods on campus.

Health Care Construction Updates

On Monday, October 23, a renovation project commenced on both floors of Wheat Ridge Health Care, as well as the main Wheat Ridge entrance. Work started first in Mountain View (second floor of Health Care), and includes painting, adding and removing walls, installing new lighting, and installing new flooring in the corridors, lounges, dining, and common areas. Renovations on Valley View (first floor) include the replacement of flooring and lighting, and painting in the corridors, lounges, dining, and common areas. No work is being done in any resident rooms, so residents do not need to relocate.

Additionally, in November, expansion to our main Administration entrance began. The front desk was temporarily relocated in the lobby while work was underway. However, visitation and use of the entrance remained open and front desk services were uninterrupted during construction. The receptionist was able to occupy the new front desk on January 5, and finishing touches should all be completed by the end of next week.

The entire project is being overseen by Paul Risk Construction and is expected to take approximately seven–eight months from start to finish. Additional noise may be experienced while the work is underway, but visitation remains open during construction. We appreciate the patience of our residents, team members, and visitors, and apologize for any inconvenience while we make these much-needed upgrades.

Campus Updates

A vaccine clinic, offering flu, COVID-19, Shingles, RSV, and Prevnar 20 vaccines, will be held at Fairmount on April 2, 2024, in the Wheat Ridge Chapel from 2pm-3pm. Please call 717.354.1800 to make an appointment.

Visitation and mask requirement guidelines:

Visitation remains open every day, with the preferred visitation times being between 10am and 7pm.  Visits may continue as long as you are feeling well; please refrain from visiting if you are feeling unwell.  When visiting, please follow the infection prevention guidelines available at the entryway.

• Masks must be worn at ALL TIMES if you have any cold signs and symptoms (for the duration of the cold) and if you were exposed to someone with COVID. (Masks must be worn for 10 days following exposure.)
• Please help to continue keeping our residents safe from COVID.
